Central locking is a system of central locking. It is required for the simultaneous opening or locking of all car doors and fuel cap. This clever spare part relates to the comfort systems of the vehicle. Door locking can be implemented using a centralized or decentralized control. Centralized control is possible only if there is one electronic control unit that controls all the doors. Increased number of functions that are under the control of the comfort system became a prerequisite to the decentralized management appearance.
When you apply a decentralized control, except of the central control unit in each door there is installed a separate electronic control unit. In modern cars the most common is decentralized system of the comfort control. Construction of the central locking is quite simple. It consists of the input sensors, control unit and actuators. The input sensors in the system are the doors limit switches and micro switches. Central locking system operates both when the ignition is on or off. If the car doors are locked with key, when you turn the key in the lock a micro switch responsible for the lock is activated. After that the signal is transmitted from the switch to the control box and then to the central control unit.
Central unit is responsible for the formation of control signals for all control units, rear door electric actuators and fuel tank cap. All the mechanisms involved in the system lock all vehicles doors. The signal in the central locking system helps to prevent re-actuating of the electrical drive. Similarly the unlocking is done.
