Design features

The company follows the “Sculptural artistry meets German precision” philosophy. It was created by Mark Adams, the Head Designer of Opel, in 2005. This concept was embodied in the Insignia A saloon, estate car, and 5-door hatchback in 2009. The key design idea is to focus attention on the technical accuracy of all car mechanisms, using smooth and sharp lines on the exterior.

With their outline, the car lights resemble the fenders. Chrome-coated lines on the radiator grille visually extend the company logo. The lines of the bonnet add agility to the car’s appearance. The sculptured shape of the body sides also adds style to the exterior.
