This allows the car manufacturer to set affordable prices for the vehicles. For the first time this motor was used in 2016 to equip the 3- and 5-door Uno hatchbacks. Its displacement is 1.3 litres, output – 101 hp, max torque – 134 Nm at 3,500 rpm.

Design features

When creating cars, the manufacturer aims at combining recognisable style and practicality. Specialists of the Fiat Centro Stile subdivision work on the exterior appearance of new models. The design of the 500 cabrio and hatchback was one of the best solutions. The Trepiùno concept car was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2004, while the mass production versions debuted in 2007 and underwent restyling in 2015. Classic round headlights, a chrome-coated front bumper, and smooth body lines highlight the resemblance with the 500 model produced in the 60s.

Safety systems such as Lane Assist and Blind Spot Detection are installed on the 500X crossover that debuted in 2014. The former informs the driver about departure from the lane, the latter about objects in blind spots. Moreover, Rear Cross Path Detection is offered. It alerts the driver to the risk of collision with vehicles driving behind.
