The Citroën C3 III 5-door hatchback, presented at the Paris Motor Show in 2016, was the embodiment of a new design concept of the car manufacturer. According to company representatives, their aim was to create a car for young customers, which could be budget-friendly and modern at the same time. The following design solutions are worth noting: a panoramic sunroof, numerous chrome-coated elements, and the option to choose a roof colour different from that of the other body elements. In addition, the hatchback received stylish side protective panels, referred to as Airbump, made of thermoplastic polyurethane. They are mounted on the outer sides of the doors and are capable of absorbing slight impacts.

• ConnectedCAM. An HD camera is mounted behind the rearview mirror. It is activated automatically in emergency situations to record and store information about what happened. The 5-door hatchback C3 III was the first car equipped with such technology.
