This electronic system automatically determines the car’s speed and analyses the road conditions. Basing on this data, it distributes the torque between the axles in the optimal way. This ensures stability of the car while manoeuvring even on slippery roads.

Design features

In 2015, the manufacturer presented a new design concept, Fluidic Sculpture 2.0. Its main attributes are visual liquidity of the shapes and elegance. The idea was embodied in the outward appearance of Hyundai Genesis DH saloons that rolled off the production line between 2015 to 2016. Their release was preceded by the HCD-14 Genesis concept car presented at the North American International Auto Show in 2013. The German designer Peter Schreyer participated in creating the mass production car. The saloon had attractive features, such as the large hexagonal radiator grille and sculpted body sides. Wooden trim elements were present in the interior.

Today the company designers follow the “Sensuous Sportiness” principle. It consists of striving for the optimal balance between strict proportions, style, technologies, as well as the combination of a car’s sportive spirit and high comfort level. This design concept is embodied in the Le Fil Rouge concept car presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2018.

Safety systems in Hyundai models

The BCW system is available for the modern Tucson crossover. When changing lanes, it gives visual and audible alerts of presence of objects in blind spots. The RCCW helps to carefully drive out of a parking spot by warning about cross traffic behind the vehicle. It operates using the radar sensors in the rear body part. The LBA-S cornering lighting system adds extra visibility due to auxiliary low beam lights.
