It has an impressively high volumetric power density of 5.7 kW/l. This unit was developed as part of the R&D project VOLUMETRIQ in 2019.
The launch of single- and multi-layer metallic engine cylinder head gaskets, named Metaloflex and Metaloseal, was revolutionary. They are made of corrugated spring steel coated with a special elastomere. Thanks to the multi-layer design, the components adapt perfectly to the specific features of the engine.
