LCD HD headlights, which are going into serial production in 2020, are a true revolution. Installation of an LCD with a 30,000-pixel matrix into a LED headlight allows intelligent distribution of the light beam using high-resolution graphic projection. The LCD element consists of 25 high-power LEDs, the intensity of which can be adjusted individually. An electronic module receives information about the environment from a front camera and LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensor.
